Prior to establishing Broder & Orland LLC, Attorneys Broder & Orland practiced Matrimonial and Family law together at Fitzmaurice & Siegel in Stamford, Connecticut. Their current practice includes the representation of clients in complex matrimonial litigation, high net worth divorce cases and premarital agreements as well as custody, visitation, relocation and post-judgment matters. Additionally, Attorneys Broder and Orland serve as the attorneys for minor children in contested custody cases and conduct private special masters conferences.

Attorney Broder has practiced law for twelve years. He was formerly at Blank Rome LLP in New York, where he was employed as an associate in one of the region’s largest and most prestigious matrimonial and family law departments. He is a member of the Connecticut and New York Bars. Prior to co-founding Broder & Orland LLC, Attorney Broder worked at Fitzmaurice & Siegel. Attorney Broder is a Director-at-Large of the Fairfield County Bar Association, Co-chair of its Family Law Section, is a member of its Nominating Committee and serves on its Board of Editors. Attorney Broder also serves as a Special Master in the Family Division of the Stamford and Bridgeport Superior Courts.
 


Attorney Orland has practiced law for almost thirty years. A Worcester, Massachusetts native, she began her career there as an Assistant District Attorney, prosecuting several high profile felony cases. Attorney Orland subsequently joined the offices of Wolfson Keenan Cotton and Meagher, where she maintained a general practice, concentrating in divorce, matrimonial, family and criminal matters. She successfully handled the first surrogacy case to be decided by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, ultimately winning custody for the child’s father. Upon relocating to Westport, Connecticut, Attorney Orland worked at Fitzmaurice and Siegel prior to co-founding Broder & Orland. She is a member of the Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and District of Columbia bars, the Family Law Section of the Fairfield County and American Bar Associations, and serves on the Executive Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association Family Law Section. Attorney Orland also serves as a Special Master in the Family Division of the Stamford and Bridgeport Superior Courts.

Attorney Healy has been at Broder & Orland, LLC since 2006. She received her B.A. degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Marist College in 2004. She received her J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2007. Attorney Healy was admitted to practice in Connecticut in November, 2007. While in law school, Attorney Healy was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient, a Legal Action Fellowship recipient, and was honored with two Distinguished Academic Achievement awards. Attorney Healy is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Fairfield County Regional Bar Association.
